Welcome to Gygratun at Ænes - a peaceful and inspiering place where creative and physical activities in a varied nature combined with the contact with local people, travelers and farm animals will provide good experiences.

This idyllic little farm is situated at Ænes, a quiet hamlet with friendly people, overlooking the fjord and with a quaint little church from the end of the 12th century.

Ænesdalen, just behind the farm, is a unique valley partially in the Folgefonn National Park with the glacier, high mountains, overwhelming views, waterfalls, rivers, beautiful woods and calm lakes.

  Perfect location;

- Bergen Airport - 2 hrs

- The Trolls Tongue "Trolltunga" 40 min. drive to the parking where you start the hike. 

- The Folgefonna Glacier - Bondhusdalen with the Bondhusbreen  and the beautiful path Keiserstien up to Fonnabu where you can spend the night. From Gygratun its' only 10 minutes drive to where you park.The view from the road is very beautiful with steep hillsides right into the fjord and a waterfall Furbergsfossen, just by the road.

And in the other direction :

- Barony Rosendal from 1665 - a pearl in wondful natur - a cultural activity center surounded by beatiful farms and the amazing Rosendal Alps  - 15 min.
